Seraphine Grace delos Santos is a Special Operations Unit member who specializes in tracking down cults and syndicates that are related to the mass production of Bio-Organic Weapons and Black Market pharmaceutical trades.Her story heavily stems from being a former cult member to an SOU under the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Aliance (BSAA) that commanded her own Special Operations Squad named Cult and Syndicate Extraction Squad (CaSES) which made her one of the center intelligence sources of the BSAA's North American Branch and is also responsible for shutting down international underground bioweapon trade operations for 12 years.At present, she works under the Division of Security Operations (DSO) due to the internal conflict she had with the BSAA after the 2017 Baker House Incident, still heavily focusing on tracking down cults and syndicates that causes internal disruption in US government operations.

Early Life (1980- mid 1998)

Sometime in 1980, Seraphine was born in Chicago City to a family of two, with her being an elder twin. Her life was normal, having been raised by a father who is a virologist and a mother who also studied in the same medical field, both of which are extremely religious.In 1986, due to an opportunity to showcase her father's revolutionary study in viral mutation and cellular reconstruction, Seraphine and her family moved to Raccoon City to be closer to the biggest opportunity to revolutionize the medical world.Seraphine almost had it all, until at the age of 10, where it was discovered she had a heart condition that made it almost impossible for her to pursue what she wanted in life: to become a ballerina.At 12 years old, her condition rapidly deteriorated, making her bedridden to the point where she was sent to hospice.Under the guise of "new life-saving operation procedures", Seraphine was taken by Umbrella personnel under her father's name to "make her condition stable". This operation was proven beneficial as it has become a strong proof of success for her father's lifelong research on cellular reconstruction and adaptation through a special type of T-Virus strain (dubbed as T-Genesis), something that will be detrimental to her later in life.

Raccoon City Incident (1998)

After her operation in 1992, Seraphine's life changed. It wasn't as how she remembered it, but the details she does remember helped her transition back to her "life" as a rather religious girl who attended church and followed science like a newfound religion.However, six years after her subsequent success as one of the world's first successfully revived "patient", Raccoon City would find itself in ruins due to an outbreak caused by Umbrella's virus containment failure.News about cases of the "cannibal disease" started springing up and Seraphine was one of the victims who presented early symptoms, which prompted her handlers to isolate her for a cure.However, three days before the outbreak, her handlers were found dead and she was left alone to procure the vaccine herself.With nowhere to go and having procured the vaccine with the notes left in the labs within its final stages, she escaped with only few of the suppressors made for her, only to be abducted by surviving church members who are actual co-horts to her primary "handler".She survived, but as to where she was brought, no one knows. Her life and her success story was then buried under the rubble.

The Silver Eye Cult (1999-2004)

Trigger warnings, read at your own risk: Abductions, medical malpractices and experimentations.A few months after Umbrella's downfall and Raccoon City's destruction, Seraphine was then brought to an undisclosed location somewhere in the region of Tuscany, Italy wherein a new cult-like organization was formed; during which they succeeded in indoctrinating and brainwashing Seraphine into a new identity: Sariel.While under said operations, she was subjected to several experiments with a new mold mutation that her handler has acquired via The Connections called "Exodus". With the previous success of the T-Virus operation, Sariel adapted to the mold plagas just as quickly, reshaping her whole physiology as a result. As such, she became the progenitor of "Project Exodus" : a project dedicated to the development of angel-like super intelligent bioweapons.For five years, Sariel was a key member of L'occhio d'argento (The Silver Eye) as part of the "Seven Archangels" that oversaw black market operations as well as continued experimentations for a new virus mutation to create a new type of bioweapons. In the guise of being a "missionary", Sariel, along with her group, was sent to various locations across Europe to carry out their plans of taking over the trade, causing several outbreaks in rural villages and one major outbreak within Tuscany.However, in early 2004, the Anti-Umbrella Pursuit and Investigations team found the head of the organization and seized their primary operations in Italy. Sariel and most of the members under her were caught and was sent back to the United States under the USSTRATCOM for liability control.After being cured of the plagas, Seraphine was then returned. However, her memories upon being cured were wiped out, leaving her with no memory of the events that happened before her rescue. She was then held by the USSC for a few months until she was taken by a BSAA agent.

1st Sergeant delos Santos, CaSES (2006-2018)

After being taken from the USSC's hands in late 2004, Seraphine was put into rehabilitation and was subjected to a series of plagas-related medical tests and observations conducted in private.In late 2005, under the care of the BSAA agent that rescued her, she was then put under specialized education programs to push her to pursue a degree in forensics. Due to her "accelerated" memory, she was able to attain her degree while undergoing special operations training and be formally inducted in the BSAA in late 2007 as a "prodigal" rookie agent after a successful covert mission relating to the abduction of orphans involving a church within the District of Colombia.Details of her induction were kept top-secret due to the discovery of her being classified as a modified human during her rehabilitiation and her involvement with The Silver eye cult was kept confidential to prevent the knowledge of a super intelligent B.O.W working within the organization.Because of her history with her cult, Seraphine made her own group called Cult and Syndicate Extraction Squad (CaSES) that heavily focused on targeting illegal pharmaceutical and black market bioweapon trade, as well as providing vital intelligence as a special reconnaissance unit. In the background, she heavily focused on the Connections as her "handler" was still alive and heavily involved in organized crimes through the Connections internationally.In October 2014, after getting information about the Connections making a new form of bioweapon called E-001, the BSAA selected Seraphine's squad to be sent to Munich to execute the plan to stop the shipment of E-001 and destroy it. However, her team failed the mission, leaving her to be the only survivor. This incident started the growing distrust between her and the BSAA.In Late 2017, due to the cover up of the Baker House Incident, Seraphine came into irreconcilable odds with the organization and ultimately left in early 2018 for the reasons of "internal conflict" and "misalignment of values".

D.S.O and Continued Recon Work (2020-Present)

Two years after leaving the BSAA and doing independent investigation work internationally, Seraphine was then sought out by an unknown contact who was related to the Division of Security Operations (D.S.O) due to her previous recon work about The Connections.Knowing that the government has involved itself in the destruction of Raccoon City before, Seraphine agreed to work under said organization on the grounds that she was one to investigate underground affairs within the US Government itself as she discovered that the Connections was something more than just an international crime syndicate.It might not be the safest and most agreeable decision, but it was the only way that she could keep her toes in her work while protecting everyone else in the distance.❝ To work against the enemy, you must be one with the enemy. ❞And so, her work of taking down her long-standing nightmare continues on, operating in the shadows of the men in current power.
